Our clinic provides English-speaking dermatology care for international visitors, tourists, and residents in Japan.
Before your visit, please read the following information carefully.

Types of Consultation

Our clinic offers two different types of consultations: medical dermatology consultations and aesthetic consultations.
Please note that consultation fees differ between medical dermatology consultations and aesthetic consultations.
In some cases, the doctor may determine the appropriate consultation category based on your symptoms.

1.⁠ ⁠Dermatology Consultation (Medical Skin Care)

This consultation is for skin diseases and medical skin conditions.
If you have travel insurance or international medical insurance, your consultation and treatment may be covered depending on your insurance policy.
Please confirm coverage with your insurance company before visiting our clinic.

Common conditions we treat include:
Eczema / dermatitis
Warts, cysts, skin lumps or bumps
Hives (urticaria)
Acne
Insect bites
Eczema (Atopic dermatitis)
Skin infections
Other skin problems

2.⁠ ⁠Aesthetic Consultation

This consultation for cosmetic or aesthetic concerns and is usually not covered by insurance.

Examples include:
Dark spots / pigmentation
Mole checks
Wrinkles
Skin laxity / sagging
Cosmetic treatment consultation
Skincare consultation
IV therapy

Dermatology Consultation

Depending on your condition, the following treatments or procedures may be available during your visit:
Skin examinations and testing
Minor procedures
Small surgical treatments
Prescription medications

In Japan, prescriptions are usually filled at an outside pharmacy.
Some medications may be dispensed directly at our clinic.
We can also provide English instructions for your medications when needed.

For Patients Using Travel Insurance or International Medical Insurance

If you plan to use travel insurance or international medical insurance, please contact your insurance company before visiting the clinic regarding coverage, payment procedures, and required documents.

Direct Billing to Insurance Companies

We can send an invoice directly to your insurance company only if a Guarantee of Payment (GOP) or payment authorization is issued before your visit.
Please ask your insurance provider to send the required documents to our clinic in advance.

If No Guarantee of Payment Is Available

Patients without a Guarantee of Payment are required to pay the full medical cost at the clinic on the day of the visit.
You may later submit the receipt and medical documents to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Medical Certificates and Documents

We can prepare medical certificates in either Japanese or English upon request.
If your insurance company requires a specific claim form or medical document, please inform us before your appointment and send the form in advance if possible.
Additional document fees may apply.

Weekdays 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM, 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Saturday 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Important Information Before Your Visit

Please Bring the Following:
Passport or photo ID
• Insurance documents (if applicable)
• Information about your current medications
• Previous medical records or referral letters (if available)

Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your appointment time.
• Patients with appointments are given priority.
• Walk-in patients are welcome, but waiting times may occur.

Emergency Conditions

Our clinic is not an emergency medical facility.
If you have any of the following symptoms, please seek care at an emergency hospital immediately:

• Difficulty breathing
• Severe allergic reactions
• Loss of consciousness
• High fever with severe symptoms

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can I visit the clinic without Japanese health insurance?
– Yes. Patients without Japanese health insurance can still receive treatment by paying privately.
If you do have Japanese national health insurance, some medical dermatology consultations may be covered.

Can tourists or short-term visitors receive treatment?
– Yes. Our clinic welcomes international travellers and visitors to Japan.

Is the prescription written in English?
– No. Prescriptions in Japan are issued in Japanese and are filled at Japanese pharmacies.
Some medications may be provided directly at our clinic.
We can provide English explanations about your medications when needed.

Can I make a same-day appointment?
– Yes. Please contact us by LINE or E-mail before visiting.
Walk-in patients are accepted, but waiting times may occur depending on appointment availability.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please contact us as early as possible.
Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may affect future appointment availability.
