INTRODUCTION
I lived in Singapore for 15 years, during which time I practiced at a Dermatology clinic and cared for many patients.
Through my own experiences living abroad, I came to understand the challenges of patients not being able to communicate in the local language, and I realized how important it is to have medical care available in one’s native language.
At the clinic in Singapore, I also supported Japanese patients who were not confident in English,
striving to ease their anxiety by providing care in Japanese.
After returning to Japan and resuming my practice here,
I encountered patients from overseas who wished to receive medical care in English.
Illnesses and skin concerns are often stressful on their own, and the added barrier of language can make the experience even more difficult.
From these encounters, I strongly felt the desire to support patients in Japan who cannot speak Japanese.
To bring this vision to life, I have established an environment at my clinic where consultations can be provided in English,
ensuring that patients can feel secure and well cared for.
I sincerely hope to serve as a bridge in our increasingly international society and to provide a clinic
where everyone can feel at ease receiving medical care.
What you need for your medical examination
When a person from overseas visits our clinic, you will need the following documents
Identification
A passport
Insurance documentation/ information
(if you have relevant Health/travel insurance)
All health/travel insurance programs have their own requirements for making claims or usage when overseas.
Some require approvals, special documents to be filled out, or other procedures to follow.
Please review your insurance requirements prior to the visit and bring any documentation that the clinic may need to
complete and advise the reception if there are any special requirements.

- As our clinic is appointment-based, we kindly ask you to make your reservation online and fill out the online medical questionnaire.

- When visiting the clinic, kindly bring an identification document such as your Japanese health insurance card or passport.
Consultation

- Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment and check in at the reception. The doctor will see you for the consultation and explain the diagnosis and possible treatment options.
- Consultation
- Once you have agreed to the explanation of the treatment or procedure, the treatment may be carried out or medication may be prescribed on the same day.
Post treatment and Payment

- After the consultation is completed, please proceed to the payment. We accept payment by credit card or in Japanese yen cash.
- Medication

NHI Patients: Will receive their medications at the time of payment. In the case of special medications, a prescription may be issued instead.
Non resident patient:Will receive receive prescriptions for fulfilment at local pharmacies.
About Medications
At our clinic, foreign patients with Japanese National Health Insurance (NHI) will receive their medications at the time of payment.
